Local Rules:

1. Out of Bounds (Rule 27-1)

Beyond: a) The boundaries of the course
  b) Areas defined by white posts
  c) In or over any out of bounds cutting

2. Immovable Obstructions (Rule 24-2)
All roads, paths, staked trees, fixed sprinkler heads (hydrant covers), tee markers, distance markers, course furniture, permanent signage, litter bins, ESB cable ties, lifebouys are immovable obstructions.
Relief may be obtained without penalty under (Rule 24-2b, one club length from the nearest point of relief). Protective screen to the left near side of the 15th green.
Dropping area provided.

3. Stones in Bunkers
Stones are moveable obstructions (Rule 24-1 applies).

4. Integral Parts of the Course (Rule 28)
Un-staked trees, tree stumps, flower beds unless white lined and rocks are all integral parts of the course and the ball must be played as it lies, or declared un-playable.

5. Ground Under Repair
Play is prohibited from areas marked as 'Ground Under Repair (G.U.R.)' If a player's ball lies in such an area, relief must be taken.

6. Water Hazards
Defined by Yellow Stakes;
.......(a) The right side of the 1st fairway.
.......(b) To the left of the 6th fairway and 7th green.
.......(c) The rear of the 18th green, dropping area.......... ........provided.
Defined by Red Stakes;
.......(d) Lateral water hazard to the right of the 18th..fairway.

7. Additional Rules
Please refer to the general notice board in the Pavilion.

8. Distance Markers
Distances indicated on the scorecard are measured in yards to the centre of each green. Blue Distance markers being set at 200 yds and Yellow at 150 yds to the centre of same.

9. The Raheen
A ball coming to rest in the 'Raheen' adjacent to the 8th and 10th greens must be lifted and relief taken under Rule 25-1. Relief must be taken by using the designated dropping zone. There are two dropping zones identified A and B. If playing the 8th hole and the ball comes to rest beyond the centre point marker the designated dropping zone to be used is 'B' otherwise it is dropping zone 'A'.
Similarly when playing the 10th hole, a ball coming to rest beyond the centre marker must be payed from dropping zone 'A' otherwise from dropping zone 'B'.

10. Balls coming to rest on green or tee-box other than that being played, must be dropped off (No Penalty).
